ELIMINATING OPERATOR ERROR
Going forward, we at Skyline recognize a growing industry demand to increase safety and protocols. Adventure tourism sites worldwide want to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
As leaders in the industry for over a decade, we continually strive to revolutionize adventure tourism. Our patented trolley launcher, trolley catch-block, and integrated system have contributed to our continued success.
We noticed a gap in the industry. To address it, we created a one-stop solution for adventure tourism sites. This system helps mitigate risk and aims to reduce rider injuries to zero.
As the adventure tourism industry demands zero risk of rider injury, we developed a cutting-edge system called Safe Launch.
The skyTECH Safe Launch system eliminates all foreseeable operator errors by integrating a programmable-logistic-control driven safety system. It uses multiple mechanical, visual, and electronic safety protocols to reduce rider injuries to near zero.
This system combines several zipline safety technologies. Together, they create a safer, more reliable experience for riders.
The system helps sites increase revenues significantly. It includes automated photo capture and sales, digital waivers, and RFID technology for operational safety and system monitoring.
The skyTECH Safe Launch system works with an electric launch system (e-launcher) and electromagnetic gates. The gates only release when guests have cleared the landing platform and the brakes are reset. We engineered a braking system that automatically resets. It brings all guests to a single, convenient termination point, regardless of their speed or weight.
SAFE LAUNCH 2.0
Throughout 2020–2021, we continued developing the skyTECH Safe Launch system. This work brought unprecedented levels of operational oversight, safety, and efficiency. The next phase of this zipline safety equipment will include client-to-asset tracking. This feature adds another layer of redundancy to the PLC during launch procedures. It also tracks equipment usage, enhancing safety through improved maintenance and inspections. We track clients through RFID to ensure their gear matches their size and weight limits for the flight. We expect to enable this update by the summer of 2021.
